Configuration interface

Start page

The start page is a dashboard for the PhenixID Server which will contain information about the local installation, connections and most recent events.

Scenarios page

PhenixID Server ships with several guides to choose from. With these guides you will be able to create what we call a scenario. There are several guides mapping the most common authentication scenarios, e.g. an SSL-VPN authentication using Username/Password and OTP.

All configured scenarios are located on the scenarios page. There is also a button to configure new scenarios.

Configure new scenario

Click a guide that maps to your needs, then click “Start”.
Each guide consists of a number of steps. “Next” moves forward and “Previous” moves to the previous step.
Depending on current system setup the guide will ask for creation of new components or the re-usage of existing ones. A component could be a connection to your user store or a protocol configuration like RADIUS.
At the end of the guide a configuration summary will summarize the entire scenario about be saved. Finalize the guide by clicking “Finish”.

Backup / Restore

PhenixID server relies on files and folders created during the installation process. Maintain backup of the installation root directory. A recovery simply means replacing the current files and folders with the backuped content. Replacing single files or directories should only be done if advised by PhenixID support.
