Description

Validates the existence of a DN in an LDAP data source. Stores the result in a new session attribute. Supports multivalue attributes.

The attribute that contains the DN, supports multivalue attribute. Default is blank (uses session object name)

Additional Search Filter:

Additional search filter for validation of the DN. Supports SESSION(attributeName)

The attribute to store the result in. Default: VALIDATED-DN

Keep Validated/Unvalidated (val/unval):                

If the validated DNs or the unvalidated DNs should be stored in the result session attribute. Default: val

Use Cases

Example 1: Check if employee is active

Check if employee accounts which reports to a manager exist or not.
