Summary

This document is only of interest if you have done an upgrade of Identity Manager.

Example of files, folders and configuration that are not covered in an upgrade are for example new, removed or changed policies in DSEditor.properties, addition of the lang-files, new or removed files or folders. Basically any change to the customer folder that is not touched during upgrade.

If you have installed IM 5.1.0 or later and discover that you have missed several upgrades then it might be easier to do a clean install and manually upgrade IM.

Below is only version with updates stated.

System Requirements

• PhenixID Identity Manager 5.1.1 or later

Version 5.1.0

Identity Manager supports upgrade from this version and forward.

Version 5.2.0

Note: Mapping user to IM role.
We have created a new way to map IM roles to users. (we have not removed any earlier support)

Version 5.4.0

• Support for *.dat license format is removed. IM only supports *.p12 format. If you do not have an *.dat license, please contact support@phenixid.se.
• log4j2.xml. We updated log4j to version 2. In customer folder there will be an added log file with configuration of log4j2. Verify that file has been added to the \..\PhenixID\IM\customer\extension\class.
