PSD5006 – LDAP Connection Pooling in AAM

System Requirements

  1. PhenixID Automatic Account Manager 3.7 or later

Situation

Reuse the same connection for subsequents calls to a LDAP data source to minimize the number of LDAP connections.

Solution

1. Enable “Use common connection pool” in LDAP data source.

2. Add “LDAP Connection Pool” action. This action MUST be added to all policys addressing the LDAP data source to make sure connections are closed when the policy finishes.

3. Add “LDAP Disconnect” action to policies addressing the LDAP data source.
