Release of IP 5.1.2
August 12th 2020
PhenixID Identity Provisioning (IP) 5.1.2 improves the stability, compatibility and security of your solution, and is recommended for all installations.
New or updated features
1. Custom time format in LDAP Search
In an LDAP policy, the $$NOW()$$ filter has a new type where a custom time format can be entered.
Read more in PSD1069.
2. Customizable minimum time for connecting to LDAP directories
In PIP 5.1.1 the minimum time for connecting to a LDAP directory was set to 2ms, instead of 500ms as in previous versions. Now, the minimum time can be set in each LDAP data source to decrease the connection time, especially when using the data source in an action where each object is run separately.
The default minimum connection time is 500ms, and the maximum connection time will always be 10s.
Updated Actions
1. Base 64 Encode/Decode Attribute Values
Version 1.9
New configuration parameter to enter if the value in the attribute is binary or text when using the action to encode the value. By default, PIP will try to determine the value type depending on the characters in the value.
2. Remove Value
Version 1.8
New option to not make the removal of multiple occurrences case sensitive.
3. Run Action for Each Value
Version 1.3
Fixed a bug introduced in PIP 5.1.0, where the action would run for empty values. Now, the action will only run for values with a content.
Bug Fixes
1. Importing policies with scheduler
In PIP 5.1.0 a new feature was introduced, where schedulers could be reassign during import of configuration. A bug related to this has been fixed.
Misc
1. Java
Identity Provisioning is now tested and bundled with java 1.8.0_252 from Azule.
