PhenixID Identity Manager 5.2.2 update improves the stability, compatibility and security of your solution, and is recommended for all installations.
For upgrade instructions, please follow our best practice.
– Upgrade from versions earlier than 5.1.0
– Upgrade from versions later than 5.1.0
1. MultiListControl with MultiDB
In previous versions of IM, the MultiListControl would not present objects in external data sources properly. This is now corrected.
A new parameter is added to support this listing of objects in external data sources. To configure the MultiListControl to support external data sources you just add the name of the multidb as value for the new parameter.
Example below of parameter and connection to e.g. multidb1
Use multidb for LDAP access. Set to string MULTIDB_x, x=1..9. Default is empty : MULTIDB_1
The PSD describing this control is also updated with a new parameter to support this, LINK_PSD1073
2. Checkbox improvement in create forms
In a scenario when creating objects and checkboxes are being used, the second validation lost the value of the checkbox.
This is now corrected.
3. Date control improvement
If you get an error in the form, the date control loses the friendly format and shows the LDAP attribute syntax instead.
This is now corrected.
4. Annoying dialog box is removed when creating objects
When creating objects and click Create, an annoying dialog box appears that needs to be closed.
This dialog box is now removed.
5. Previous view Predefined search view has been updated
With IM 5.0 we introduced a new view called MAIN view. The previous views Browse and Predefined search are still supported. In the Predefined search view some predefined searches has not work as expected. This is now corrected.
LOAD_VIEW=se.nordicedge.view.PredefinedSearch
6. Updated IM Configurator
Since MultiListController was updated with a new parameter, IM Configurator 5.2.2 is now also available in a new version to support configuration of new MultiList parameter.
