Description

Get attribute values from an LDAP object

Example

Get Attributes:

The attributes (comma separated) that should be fetched. Use | to give the attribute another name. For example: givenName,sn|lastname,title|mainTitle.

Force data source, Leave blank to select the object data source.

eDirectory

DN Attribute:

Select the attribute that contains the DN. Leave blank to use the object standard DN.

memberOf

Optional Search Filter:

If using other search filter than objectclass=*. The LDAP search will be a scope BASE, including this search filter. Default: objectclass=*

objectClass=inetOrgPerson

Support Multiple DNs (false/true)

If DN attribute contains multiple DNs, fetch attribute values from all DNs. Default: false

true

Use Cases

Example 1: Get managers e-mail address

Query the LDAP directory for the current objects manager, by using the manager attribute. Return the managers e-mail address, First and Last name.
