PIM 5.6.3 – Release Notes
June 24th 2021
PhenixID Identity Manager 5.6.3 improves the stability, compatibility and security of your solution, and is recommended for all installations.
1. Right click support to move objects
If you like to present an OU structure in the MAIN view you can use the nodes concept. For more information about nodes, please read PSD1103.
In old Browse view when you right clicked you had an option to MOVE objects.
This feature is now also available in Main view using nodes.
If you like to have the text in Swedish, add the following to the sv.lang file. This is added to the PIM 5.6.3 installer if you do a fresh installation.
# Added to PIM 5.6.3 Move Object=Flytta objekt Moving Object:=Flytta objekt: Select which directory to which you would like to move the selected item into=Välj katalog som du vill flytta det valda objektet till
2. Form buttons, custom controls and zoom
If you have controls (standard or custom) in a form on the same level as buttons (e.g. APPLY, CANCEL, CREATE) in a form, some custom controls did not work properly if covered.
This can happen if you do not have enough height in your form or if you zoom to make things bigger. Two things have been added to fix this, however proper design of the form is always to prefer.
- If controls were at the same level as the buttons in a form, there were times when these controls did not work properly. This was especially true of custom controls. (we recommend not having controls at the same level as the buttons in a form)
This has now been corrected. - If you use the zoom function in a browser, there were times when the buttons may cover controls so that they are not available. You can now use the vertical scroll bar to access the controls covered by the buttons.
(This support is added to Chrome and IE Edge)
3. ADMultiPassword update
If you like to reset the password for several users at once and they are supposed to have different passwords, PIM includes a custom control called ADMultiPassword. The grid presenting the users did not display properly.
This has now been corrected.
There is a school use case if you like to test the custom control where it is included, please see PSD1184
