PIM 6.0.2 – Release Notes

The new release of PhenixID Identity Manager (PIM) improves the stability, compatibility and security of your solution, and is recommended for all installations.

1. Encrypt using AES

When using PIM 6.0.0 or PIM 6.0.1 to encrypt data using AES, it did not work as expected. This has now been corrected.
For more information using AES for encryption, please read PSD1142

This fix has been added to both PIM WEB 6.0.2 and PIM Configurator 6.0.2.

2. Updates to AamEditFilter and AamCreateFilter

There are two ways to send data from PIM to PIP. The recommended way is to use REST but we also still support using SOAP. This bullet is for SOAP.
If you upgrade from an earlier version than PIM 6.0.2, AamEditFilter and AamCreateFilter will not work. You need to add and update a number of files.
For more information about this, please read PSD1063

3. Updates to Navet

You can use PIM to get personal information for a Swedish person with a given personal number from the Swedish Tax Agency service Navet.
If you have a solution in place for this and upgrade from an earlier version than PIM 6.0.2 this will not work. You need to add and update a number of files.
For more information about this, please read PSD1196

4. TextArea control correction

If you enter a TextArea and do not do anything it will be marked as touched. This is not the case for other control, like TextField control.
This has now been corrected. TextArea control will only be marked as touched if you add something in the control.

Extra. PIM/PIP Use Cases

We have and will keep creating use cases to provide different solutions on how PIP and PIP can be used.
An overview of all use cases can be found in PSD1173.
