IM Web 5.1.0 updates released on December 3rd 2018

PhenixID Identity Manager 5.1.0 update improves the stability, compatibility and security of your solution, and is recommended for all installations.

1. Support for upgrade from IM 5.1.0 and forward

With IM 5.1.0, IM now support in place upgrades to make it easy to move from one IM version to a newer.

2. Change look and feel so it resembles your organisation

IM 5.1.0 supports use of custom CSS, custom logo and custom background image. Please read this PSD1108

3. New Predefined Search filter to allow or exclude OU from search

If you like to do a search that should include or exclude certain OU´s that it in your BaseDN, please read this PSD1106

4. Resize of edit form windows is now dynamic

When the form windows is changed by a user the numbers of forms shown will automatically adjust. If window width is enough, ‘More’ is displayed.

5. RE-ADD SUPPORT FOR AUDIT LOG TO DB

Audit log to DB is now configured in log4j.xml, using standard log4j configuration. To divide the log message into multiple columns, like previous versions of Identity Manager, please read this PSD1109.

6. Font updates

In some places in the IM application there have been different fonts used. This is now corrected.

7. Delimiter automatically adjusts after longest search when MAIN view is used

8. Update for export function of PDF for page orientation

9. Export to Excel is added to already existing export formats PDF and CSV

10. Support to disable Export functionality

11. Predefined search filter to support LDAP OR functionality

If you like to use LDAP OR in a predefined search, please read PSD1104

12. Support for multi edit in main view

If you like to use an IM form to edit several objects at once, this is now supported.

13. Single click edit now supported

First column will have an underline to work as a web URL. If you click the link the object will be open for editing.

14. Nested group feature has been update

Changes has been made to the nested group control, to optimise performance.

15 Changes of Java

Due to the Oracle Java license cost changes we will change Java for this version and start using Java distributed by Zulu instead. (https://www.azul.com/)
This version will include:
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (Zulu 8.31.0.1) (build 1.8.0_181-b02)

16 Buttons have a similar look

Buttons used in, for example different forms and login screens, will have a similar look. See example below.

17 Filter function in result set is available by default

This can be disabled with a policy. Read PSD1117

18 Performance improvement of result set grid in Identity Manager Main view

The use of redux in our current implementation provides a more controlled environment for website changes. It allows for specific UI components to be changed rather than the whole website all together.

19 Policy available to choose the use of Apply and/or Save and Close buttons
