Summary
This PhenixID Solution Document (PSD) is written for PhenixID Identity Manager(IM) 5.x/6.x.
In most cases IM is used for delegated administration where someone create or edit data of other objects. Sometimes you like user to be able to edit data about themselves. Instead of using the Main view where the users must search themselves and then click edit you can use the self service view. This PSD explains how to configure the self service view.
Overview of Main view, please click PSD1103
System Requirements
- PhenixID Identity Manager 5.x/6.x. installed
Configure Self Service
To add Self Service view to a role you use the LOAD_VIEW policy in DSEditor.properties. Best practice is to have the LOAD_VIEW empty (no views added) in the DSEditor.properties of the web app and to add the value to the DSEditor.properties of the role.
The policy and value to add the Self service view in DSEditor.properties:
LOAD_VIEW=se.nordicedge.view.
View below is a user logged in with self service view available. Example view have to forms available, My info and Change password.
Configure Multiple views
You can have several views loaded at the same time. Just separate the views with a comma. Se example below:
LOAD_VIEW=se.nordicedge.view.browseView.BrowseView,se.nordicedge.view.PredefinedSearch
See above screenshot where Self service is selected and Main is available.
